Ten years after his first album "the hopes and dreams of a drunk punk", Jef Mercelis is back on the rock scene with his new album "Western Union" produced by Kris Dane and released by BANG! In the meanwhile he has been writing music for several dance and theatre productions such as "Moving shadows" with François Brice, "La bodega del feos", "El precio del fracaso","La lluvia horizontal", and "Concierto para un desatino" with the company El Ojo de la Faraona. Furthermore he's been working for cinema.His latest collaboration was together with Martine Doyen for the movie "Komma", starring Arno, that will be released shortly. For the Tour in 2006, Jef has formed a trio with Eatea (Eric Tatepo Kembo) on guitar, bass, keyboard and Trikkie (Patrick Clauwaert) on drums.
